These traineeships are supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation with the specific purpose of supporting those from Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds into backstage roles.

This focus is a direct response to the research report

“CENTRE STAGE THE PIPELINE OF BAME TALENT”

which highlights figures from the 2011 British Census and Creative Skillset’s 2012 Employment Census showed that the UK was 14% non-white, London’s population was made up of over 40% black, Asian, ethnic minorities (BAME)

Yet, BAME representation across the creative industries had fallen to a stark 5.4%.

These posts are open to BAME candidates in compliance with the Equality Act 2010 Positive Action. Hoxton Hall welcomes applications from Hackney residents.
