Welcome to the Huddlestone Centre
We run a range of programs for children and young people with disabilities, their carers and families.
Fun, socialisation, independent living skills, art, music, theatre, sport, exercise, learning opportunities, respite, day trips – we’ve got it all!
The Huddleston Centre is a Short Breaks provider for City and Hackney.
What We Do
The Huddleston Centre aims to enable disabled people and their families to take maximum control of their own lives and play a full and active role in all aspects of the community.
We currently run clubs every week night in term times and also run holiday play schemes.
Immediate Theatre (Monday)
Cool Gang Club ( 9yrs – 15 yrs on Tuesday)
Access Project (Wednesday)
Social Club (16yrs – 25 yrs on Friday)
These clubs provide education and skills training for disabled young people aged 9 – 25 years, access to recreational activities and opportunities to socialise and make friends, and respite to the young people, families and carers
Our vision is that young people with disability and living in Hackney are afforded
every opportunity to thrive ,achieve their potential and that their rights and interests are met
